Product Description

The Crawler-Type Pan Mixer Pump Truck is a specialized piece of heavy machinery engineered for continuous, automated mixing, pumping, and distribution of concrete in challenging and remote terrains. Unlike traditional wheeled vehicles, it uses continuous tracks for superior mobility on soft, uneven ground and steep slopes.

The Crawler Type Pan Mixer Pump Truck has the characteristics of an extremely safe boom, all-terrain off-road crawler chassis, excellent hydraulic system, automated control system, and ultra-long service life. It can continuously and automatically mix, pump, and distribute materials in one, with high pumping efficiency.

It is widely used in farmland canal concrete mixing and transportation, photovoltaic pile foundation concrete mixing and transportation, rural house concrete mixing and transportation, and various construction engineering needs etc.

Uses (Applications)

This machine is designed for use in environments where conventional concrete transport is difficult.
  • Farmland canal concrete mixing and transportation
  • Photovoltaic pile foundation concrete projects
  • Rural house construction
  • Infrastructure projects in complex or mountainous areas
  • Tunnel engineering and mining applications

Advantages (Benefits)

  • Superior Mobility: The crawler chassis allows access to all-terrain, remote, and undeveloped sites where wheeled trucks cannot operate effectively.
  • Integrated Functionality: Combines mixing, pumping, and distributing functions into a single unit, saving labor, time, and equipment investment.
  • High Efficiency and Quality: Ensures thorough and consistent mixing quality with controllable unloading speeds.
  • Reduced Logistics: Minimizes the need for separate material transport and batching plants on-site, streamlining operations.
  • Safety: The automated process enhances worker safety by reducing manual handling of concrete.

Disadvantages (Drawbacks)

  • Lower Pumping Output: The maximum capacity is generally lower than that of large, dedicated trailer or boom pumps, making it less suitable for very large, high-rise projects.
  • Wear and Tear: The small cylinder stroke in some models can lead to significant wear of the pumping unit when continuously pumping large volumes.
  • Maintenance Needs: Features a complex hydraulic system and more moving parts compared to simpler mixers, requiring skilled operators and regular maintenance.
  • Slower Road Speed: Not designed for high-speed travel on public roads, often requiring separate transport for long distances between job sites.

Distinction from Wheel-Type Mixer Pump Trucks

Feature Crawler-Type Pan Mixer Pump Truck Wheel-Type Mixer Pump Truck
Terrain Suitability Excellent for soft, uneven, steep, and off-road conditions Better suited for solid, paved roads and urban environments
Mobility All-terrain, superior climbing/wading ability Limited off-road capability; requires stable surfaces
Travel Speed Slower overall speed Faster travel speed on highways and roads
On-Site Setup Can easily maneuver and operate in constrained or undeveloped sites Requires adequate space and stable ground for operation and access
Wear on Surfaces May cause more ground disturbance; less wear on the chassis on rough ground Less wear on tires on hard surfaces, but more potential issues on soft ground

Packaging and Transportation

The machine is typically transported as a single unit, often requiring specific logistical arrangements due to its weight and dimensions.

  • Domestic Transport: Usually loaded onto a flatbed trailer for transport between sites, as its operational speed is low.
  • International Shipping:
    • Ro-Ro (Roll-on/Roll-off) Shipping: The most common method if the machine can be driven onto the vessel.
    • Flat Rack Container: If necessary, the unit is secured onto a flat rack container to accommodate its size, especially for smaller models.
    • Protective Measures: The machine is often covered with protective wrapping and secured with steel cables and stoppers to prevent movement during transit, following standard safety protocols.
